(Let it be known that the original title was "Because I like bullets" and then I realized I did NOT want someone to google that and find me necessarily. Even though I just typed it here. *furrows brow in thought* Oh well. Moving on).
- I am feeling so utterly lazy tonight that I don't want to even do a weekend recap because that requires me to send my mobile photos to myself, upload them, and discuss them. I'll blog all that later. (My personal hashtag right now is #lazylazylazysloth)
- My smashed up iPad is still being fixed. Admittedly getting nervous that they need "just a little more time because they had to order a part." (I didn't take it to Apple b/c the price was double the Mac repair place I found that came highly rated. I really do trust them. I just want my iPad.) Also, let the record show that Eric walked in to Apple this week with HIS messed up iPad (not a broken screen, but tech issues) and they just handed him a new one. This reminds me of the time the cable company totally messed up my bill and Eric told me "Call the cable company and complain about them messing up. That's not cool! They'll be scared you'll quit and give you free HBO. That's what happened when they messed up my bill." I did that. Wanna know what they said? "You'd like to cancel your account? Okay...let me put you through to our cancelation department and they can take care of that." Seriously.
- Eric and I saw Total Recall this weekend and had a debate over whether Jessica Biel or Kate Beckinsale was hotter in the movie. Thoughts?

- While we're on movies, did you know that Dark Knight's villain, Bane, was played by Tom Hardy?! Don't know Tom Hardy? He was Eames in Inception and was in that cute little rom-com called This Means War with Reese Witherspoon. I totally just think I heard your mind blowing as much as mine did. Or you already knew and I am just an idiot. Either way.
- I haven't worked out hard since I got food poisoning. Not proud of myself. I keep googling Jillian's 30 day shred and thinking about it. I think that counts.
- I find myself in tears pretty much every other day when I read/watch/hear of some Olympic athlete's triumph over adversity. I dig it. Not the crying, but the triumph. You got what I meant.
- Jenny and I were at her neighborhood pool at one point over the weekend. The male teenage lifeguards came on duty while we were there. I found myself staring past one of them, remembering the days I lifeguarded- the way I twirled my whistle, the way I yelled "Slow down!" to kids as they ran past me on the concrete, the way I kept the big kids from going down the slide backwards... Ah, those were the days. Anyway, somewhere in the daydream, I snapped of it, realizing he probably thought I was checking him out. Gross. Now I'm the old creepy girl at the suburbia pool. Awesome.
- Lately, I've wanted to start a new hobby...like playing the piano or karate or repelling or something. But, I kinda want to be really good at it immediately, so not sure how that would work.
- Last week, I pretty much determined that Gracie's bad breath meant she had an abscess in her mouth, an infection was spreading rampantly and she needed serious medical help. Rushed her to the vet. Guess what.. She just needs her teeth cleaned. (Don't get me wrong.. I'm thrilled that's all it is, but, I really do sometimes pity my someday-children).
Thanks for joining me on my Monday journey of random bulleted listingness. Hope you had a great weekend, friends... :)

I haven't seen the movie, but based solely on those pictures I'm going to say Kate was hotter.
Oh, and I have the same issues with customer service. My husband calls and complains? Free crap and a lower bill. I call? Nothing but a "sorry maam" and a don't let the door hit you on the way out!
Sorry to hear you had food poisoning- that sounds awful! I totally sit there choked up over the Olympic coverage- so many great stories!
cracking me up! I do the same thing about blogging recaps. sometimes the thought of all that effort is just too much. I keep trying to think of a way to stream-line the process but no dice yet.
i've been meaning to ask you about your cracked screen! Molly dropped mine the other day and did a number on it. So you just looked up an apple repair place? Do you mind me asking how much it is? my email is kwill42atgmaildotcom if you want to email me!
I've been in a exercise rut too! I haven't worked out since Vegas so I'm going on a little over a month. I was ready for a break but now i'm scared I've lost all my endurance. I've decided to start back AFTER the olympics. Too many late nights.
so were you a biel or beckinstale girl?
I've cried so many times at the Olympics, it's so heartwarming!
Also, Jillian's 30 day shred is a killer. It's so hard but you can definitely see results and I've only done about 5 days worth!
Catherine x
HAHA :) I hear you on the lazy sloth thing! Hopefully your iPad gets returned to you quickly! And don't feel bad. I never get anything when I call and complain to the cable company either.
I was totally blown away by the fact that he was Bane too! I was watching This Means War a few weeks ago and Nick told me that was Bane. Seriously my mind was blown. He is so scary as Bane! Speaking of Olympic crying - have you seen the "P&G Best Job In The World" Commercial? You will get teary eyed - its amazing!
The bullet about wanting a new hobby and being good at it immediately made me bust out laughing! I am exactly the same way. No patients!! Good luck with finding one:)
About the color run... I wore a bandana because i have heard that it sticks to your hair - I wanted NONE of that! :)
But -as for your post, love the bullets. And I am a Kate girl myself, although Jessica isn't ugly in one bit ;)
I am the same way with the olympics... I love watching everyone reach their goals - it's truly amazing!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who fell off the workout train! I really have to get back on track, my BFF is getting married in October and I need to be looking hot!! I'm 1 of 12 bridesmaids and only 3 of us are not married, but I'm the only one single!! Surely there will be a single guy or 2 I can meet!!
Love lists!! Short and sweet and to the point!!
Sounds like a pretty good weekend!!
LOL! Ok, I haven't seen Total Recall yet, but my vote is definitely Kate Beckinsale!
Did you like Total Recall? I loved the old one with Arnold but haven't been to see the new one yet. I'll go with Kate any day! She's so pretty.
Several of us (male and female) each made a list of who we felt were the top 10 best looking actors and actresses. Then we had a total March Madness bracket going on so we could decide once and for all who is the best looking guy and gal in Hollywood. We are not shallow at all. Anywho, Kate Beckinsale won! She beat out over 60 other actresses to claim the "most beautiful" title. Jessica Biel made it to the top 20 or so I believe. And in case you're curious, Ryan Reynolds won for the male division (I do not agree but it was a democracy so whatev). And on an entirely different note, I know exactly how you feel about the cable/HBO fiasco. That always happens to me too. Apparently we need to be more threatening on the phone? Not sure.
