Dude. This doctor might be a Lester the molester or whatever, but that might also be bogus b/c he sounded like he knew what he was talking about and didnt come across narsty. Granted, I dont plan to put on a robe for the dude and go under anesthesia any time soon, but whatever.
After 3 hours of appt and lab work, I never had the staph crap according to him. I had a COLD. SORE. Yes, you can get them on your chin and yes they're a form of herpes. As in.. I picked up valtrex at the Walgreens today. Good Lord. I sat there next to some guy that likely had his wisdom teeth out and was drooling all over himself...waiting on my herpes medication. Awesome.
I mean... I'm not doggin the drug or even having a damn cold sore (even though I've never had one but I realize 80% of America has) BUT, if this guy is a quack and this STILL doesn't go away, I think I might just...well...do something bad. I'm too tired to come up with anything else. ha. If I've got cold sores now, great.. let's embrace it and heal this shit. If he's wrong, I'm about to have my chin amputated. Pity me...but also laugh b/c this is so ridic that it's funny... As Dennis said today "How does this stuff happen to you?!" hahahahahaha! I get my labs tomorrow and will let you know. You likely dont care, but this whole blog is TMI about me, so whatever. Deal.
On another note, Lost was good tonight. I think his "man on the boat" is Michael. Thoughts? Also..who is that team of peeps assembled to go to the island? Hmmmmm.....
Have you seen Heidi Montag's music video? Go see it on youtube. Now. It's better than my valtrex story. Trust.
Alright.. looking forward to some girl time this weekend!! Hopefully work will fly tomorrow. :)

You're the second person I know who has herpes of the skin. Weird. They offered her the same meds, but she opted not to take them.
Used to work for a dermatologist, you should really go to a derm.
He can get you fixed.
herpes? geez, jackie, what have you been doing with your chin? ;)
I have a friend who gets cold sores a lot and she keeps Valtrex in her purse as soon as she can "feel" one coming on. She swears by it. Oh, and she also puts that Abreva stuff on it for good measure.
I agree with Stacia. If this doesn't work, I think you should go to a dermatologist.
Sorry, that didn't make sense. I meant to say she keeps Valtrex in her purse and takes it as soon as she feels a cold sore coming on. She says she can "feel" them coming under her skin. It's Courtney, remember her?
