Dude. Maybe I've been touchy this week. Maybe others have been. I dont know. Whatever the case, I'm so over it. OVER. IT.
I'm gonna rant. Warning. Sometimes I feel as though *some people* (I'm likely not referring to you. If you think I am, maybe I am...hahahaha..but likely not) make me feel badly that I go out on the weekends. My response is basically (1) I like it (2) I live by myself..and my boyfriend doesnt live here, so if I wasnt social, I'd be completely alone. all.the.time. Not that people think about that aspect. They'd rather just think I'm swinging from chandeliers all the time. Whatever.
I'm not defending myself b/c I dont feel like I need to...But, long and short is that it hurts my feelings when comments are made b/c it's as though other aspects of my personality and character go ignored just b/c I'm social. If someone's going to make comments, then I dont want to be around you. B/c why be around someone who you feel is judging your lifestyle, ya know?
Point is, there are days I'd give anything to just have Aaron here to...I dunno.. go to the grocery store with me...or rent a movie with me. But, that cant happen right now. And I'm alright with that. B/c I have to be. Since I cant do "everyday" things with anyone, I like going out...to dinner...to happy hour..whatever.
*sigh* See, this is ME being touchy...but whatever. I'm on my period. TMI? Yeah..not really caring so much... haha...
Oh..and I'm off to happy hour with Blaze. Just sayin.

Right on sister.
first of all, are judgmental friends really even friends?
and why should you have to justify your actions to anyone.
nothing is wrong with your lifestyle. if people are being rude, i say they are jealous!
dude, what's wrong with going out on the weekends? i do that most of the time and i'm married! someone must be jealous that you have so many friends and so many good times! ;)
xoxo.
you are the most horrible person in the world. happy hour with your friends, HOW DARE YOU!? (yes, sarcasm intended!)
be who you are and screw those "friends", people make their own decisions, if they let life keep them at home, that's their deal!
have a tall one for me!

I go out all the time and I'm married. Marriage is not an excuse for living in your house. Last night I was even a contender in the Silver Strike Bowling Tournament (yes thats the golden tee machine that does bowling people). I lost. Anyways don't let people make you feel bad. Normally comments like those come from insecurity and jealousy on other people's part. Just recognize it as that and then feel sorry for the poor soul thats acting like an asshole.
j's right... it's all jealousy. i get shit all the time from people for going out and drinking and socializing and basically just being YOUNG and FUN. but they can talk all they want... they would give anything to trade lives for a while. : ) you're all right, pretty lady!
I get it myself~today to be exact~ KEEP ON ROCKIN!!
I'm confused. Exactly what are these comments? Don't even worry about it. We are in our twenties, AKA the time to have fun, experiment, make mistakes. If you were a 45 year old and married w/ kids, I would understand people having issues w/ you going out too much. But you're 27 and doing exactly what you're supposed to be doing. Plus, I don't think these people actually KNOW you like I know you. You go out and have fun, but you never go overboard (well, maybe once in a very, very long while, which is totally normal too). I know plenty of people who regularly go out and act crazy like they are still 21 and then don't take responsibility for it. You're not that girl. You're single and fabulous and have lots of people who like your company. You do things in moderation and are thoughtful about it. Also, I don't think Aaron has anything to do with it. I don't have a BF and I think we lead similar lifestyles.
You rock. Period. Brush off those haters.
