Have you seen the movie? It's good. You should. I went. I liked. I'm tired. Aimed for the 7 something or 8:30 show and got in the 9pm...We lined up at 8pm for the damn thing. It was THAT busy on a MONDAY.
Heath was maniacal, hilarious, creepy, scary...He was just good. Period. And not just b/c everyone said he was..or bc/ of the obvious...but just plain awesome in his own right. Christian Bale was hot-as usual. Although, today, I heard he got in trouble for kicking some ass...as in his sister's and his mothers. Great. Way to ruin another celebrity crush for me.
I had an issue (or 15) sleeping last night after the knife-wielding Joker and numerous murderous creepos in the movie. So, I played n facebook til I felt like I was about to pass out and would therefore be safe from the Joker in my dreams.
It was a really well-written movie, but it was dark. I told my co-worker to not let his kid see it (age 10). It's really smart, too, and I enjoy that, but if you miss an underlying plot, you've just missed it. They dont hand it to you later. I like movies that make me think, so I enjoyed.
Go see it. NOW.

I saw it. Saturday. Love Love LOVED IT! So glad you saw it, I'm wanting to see it in IMAX now...but they are sold out. Boo. Oh well.
I agree with your review of Heath Ledger. Seeing him in that role made me really think about the fact that he's gone and that sucks. Reminds me of Brandon Lee in "The Crow."
