Hi, I'm Jackie's new shirt. She plans to wear me this weekend to either Dave M@tthews on Friday or to K!ngs of Leon on Saturday. (She's also very proud of herself for getting me on sale at JCrew b/c she thinks I will look fabtastic under an oversized cardigan later this year). I believe she plans to wear me with dark jeans and heels..up in the air whether they'll be skinny jeans or not, but that doesn't matter. Here's what I need help with. Jackie can't decide what to pair with me!
necklace for sure, but...
purely gold? maybe multiple strands, but something simple?
...or maybe gold with pearls or other bobble type things, but still fairly simple?
I'm asking b/c I really think lots would look good okay with it sooo bring on your stylish opinions, peeps b/c I think I'm gonna go grab a necklace after work tomorrow.. likely somewhere cheaper like Forever21 or Francescas or even Amer!can Eagle. (they have cute necklaces). :) If I had more time, I would have ordered something on Stella & Dot! Such a cute site and her blog is great! I entered her blog contest once..didn't win, but still love the jewelry! Go check it out!!!
And thank you thank you thank you for the compliments on my dress I wore to the wedding!!! I got it last year at a boutique in Chicago called Akira! Their stuff is actually really affordable...I think it was like 40 bucks!!!, but they don't list everything online *sad face* :)

do a plain gold chain or something simple not long the shirt is busy enough already. cute top :) and i like the headband below. i enjoy wearing those as well even though i look like a toddler. ALOVE

see...I wouldn't go gold. but I think I'm biased because I am not a fan of gold! apparently it's "in" though. I like the bauble-ee option. The shirt is busy, but the busy is in the middle/bottom, so I think a little more decoration on the top half would be ideal.
And since Stella & Dot sends things priority mail, I bet it would get here in time if you ordered it early today. My earrings I just bought got here in 2 days! My friend Patty is a consultant if you want to check out her site (it's the same stuff, but it would benefit a friend-of-a-friend instead of Stella & Dot corporate!)
I like choice number one above, very simple, but maybe you can double a longer necklace to have 2 strands and that way it will be short enough not to compete with the ruffles? I feel like one strand is not enough. Definitely I would go with gold though!! AND skinny jeans! I mean, I'm really fashionable and trendy so you should seriously listen to me! ;)

I like the first necklace. simple and elegant but not so flashy as to take away from the tank.
i went into new york & company and got something similar in color. it's really gorgeous...so kudos on color choice!

okay, you described this shirt to me last night on the phone and this is not at all what i pictured. i said last night no pearls and i'm sticking with that. but the shirt is so simple, i think you could wear practically anything with it. i think layering is a good idea. i like to wear a shorter necklace and then a longer necklace. it can't be too matchy-matchy though. like, i would maybe wear a short necklace with a gold medallion and then maybe a long purple and gold necklace i got at banana. i think gold or silver are good. i'm super into gold right now, so that's the way i lean. i say statement necklaces and no earrings. bangles would work too with the necklaces though. bottom line is you'll look hawt no matter what.

I would layer a few gold simple gold necklaces. If they're understated enough you could combine both the pearls and the balls. : )
And I might have said gold one too many times. COFFEE. I blame my typos way too much on not having had my coffee yet. Ah ha
