So, last night, I thought "I'm going to bed early! Look at me!" I felt like I deserved a cookie...or at least some praise as I climbed into bed at 9:30. (I have a tendency to stay up on weekdays til at LEAST midnight. Night owl=me). I grabbed my book and, halfway through it, thought "well, I can just read one chapter."
Let me tell you... This book...
...sucks.you.in. I looked at the clock and it was 11:45 and I was pretty much done with the book. I have like 15 pages left. I kept reading...and reading... and reading. Mind you, I've been trying to go slowly b/c I want to save books two and three for my (EIGHT HOUR) flight to Maui. :) But it was just soooo good! Couple that with the fact that my roomie wasn't home and I kept reading the scary parts thinking, "okay, I'll stop the moment something happens in the book that gets my mind away from the scary stuff it's talking about..."Haha.. Anyway, I love it. And I want book two. Now. (Saving book three for the plane isn't so bad, right? *Shrugs*) Are you reading/have you read the series? I know they just cast Lisbeth for the US movie. I think I like their choice; I hope she can be bad @ss enough. Just sayin. I definietly like their choice for Blomkv!st (Dan!el Craig!) Concerned that they want the movie to be in Swedish accents b/c I just dont know if they can pull that off without being cheesy.

...as he slaves away on his (could-be LAST) CPA exam this afternoon!!!!!!I'm looking very forward to cheersing him with one...(or two)... of these over some chips and salsa and Mexican food (the only way to celebrate.. duh) lata!

Those books are fantastic! I read the 2nd one while at the lake last week- couldn't put it down either. Hope Eric does well- what a relief it will be to be done!
Loved the book. Thought the Swedish movie was good but left a ton of the book out. It''ll be interesting to see what the American one does.

I just started the first one and am having trouble getting started on it. I've been told that the first 50 pages or so drag a bit because he was preparing for a 10 part series so there is a lot of background. I'm keeping hope though. I hope Eric does well (I'm sure he will). Enjoy your yummy food and drinks. Your Maui countdown seriously makes me jealous. Oh and Barns and Nobel had the books on the 10% off rack the other day...just fyi

OMGEEEEEEEEEE...I totally just posted about this book ((and a few others)). I just wrapped it up on Friday night (yes I was home on a friday night.reading. please don't judge :) ) I can't WAIT for book two! and of course three! Yay for mexican food and 'ritas tonight! I hope Eric passed (and I'm sure he did) with FLYING colors!

I LOVED that book! I haven't read the third one yet. I am a slacker and like to listen to audiobooks and I'm on a waitlist at the library for it. Have you seen the first two movies? They are SO good, I wasn't even put off by the subtitles.

I had the same issue reading that book last week! I lost so much sleep! Couldn't put it down! What a page turner!
And, I bought Book #2 this weekend, but I'm not allowing myself to open it till the weekend!
just finished book 3. :) think 1 and 2 were better but you have to finish! 3 is good too. they're all ADDICTING.

Good luck to Eric! Ok, so I seriously considered purchasing that book at Borders last weekend, but paused at the register, instead opting for 3 issues of US Weekly, OK! Magazine and Life & Style...as you can tell, I was in a serious reading mood : ) I will definitely have to buy it now though, because I'll take a good book over TV any day! Unless Jersey Shore is on, in which case reading can wait, haha!)

OMG I COULD NOT put it down. I even read it at red lights. Yes, I just admitted that. It was A-MAZING!!!!! Someone recommended it in an airport and it did not look like something I'd usually go for but I"m SO GLAD I DID. I LOVED IT. Finished the second one a couple days ago. Very different, but still totally gripping. Incredible. NOT gonna buy the 3rd one until my next plane ride. NOT. GOING. TO. (I have to keep telling myself this!)
