I have been thinking a LOT about what I really really want...not the "happiness, success," stuff, but more the actual STUFF stuff. I mean..we all have things that we want do get, buy, do, in our lifetime... So.. since this is a 20something's blog, maybe I shall devote a blog a week to stuff that is related to my being in such an idealistic-indecisive-figuringlifeout place. :).
Today's topic: Things I want in my life and feel as though I would be disappointed if I never acheieved. (Mind you, I said earlier that all the meaningful stuff is NOT being mentioned here. Of course I want kids, etc...)
IN ORDER:
1. To live on a beach...or have a beach house...I often feel as though my devotion to the midwestern-small-town-values, etc, is only trumped by the sounds of crashing waves...and well, great whites, seashells and sand of course!
2. Travel....for at least a few months in bulk...at some point in my life. I'd like to say a year, but keepin it real here.
3. Live internationally for awhile.
I have other topics in mind, but feel free to suggest and contribute with comments. Maybe this will end up being a good hump day topic. :)

ugh jackie i am right IN THE MIDDLE of a big "what does it all mean" kind of 20-something phases right now. i guess it's good for me, but it's not very fun. : (
I'm putting a new post on mine too. I typed it up here, but it turned out to be a blog, not a comment on YOUR blog. ha! So check it out if you want...
Here are just a few...
-I want a beach front house with high glass windows and a nice deck for margaritas and reading.
-I want a pair of wave runners and a nice truck to haul them around with.
-I want a log cabin in the woods. To enjoy my time and write to my hearts content.
-I want to travel, back pack, and explore Rome, Sicily, & see the Mediterranean.
-I want my kids to hurry and grow up so I can ENJOY these things! ha!
-Joy
i love your list, jax. absolutely. especially travel and living internationally. do it!
I have #2 and #3 on my list too. I'm working on #3 and hopefully in a year or two...
You might want to acheive (sic) spelling common words correctly.
You might want to get a life that enables you to do more than read my blog with a fine tooth comb...
I didn't realize that it was mandatory to utilize our AP Vocab/Spelling classes in our day to day non-professional blogs.
