This is where my head's at today...
The idea of a yard...and a garage...and...and...my OWN washer and dryer...
...nearly makes me so excited that I shit my pants.
So, uh, why do I stay in Tulsa where I refuse to set up lasting roots (in terms of a house, etc)? I've said "I wanna move" for um... years now? Yeah.
But...
I like my job. And uh, how does one move anyway? I mean it was hard enough finding a job HERE let alone in a state. I picture it now.
Employer: "Hi, so will you be moving to ___ in the near future?"
Me: "Um, if I get this job, I will."
Employer: "Wow, you seem really grounded."
Well, that's where my head's at.
And... I dont like that my stuff at work makes me change my password every friggin 20 days or something. Today, I couldnt retrieve my messages b/c I couldnt remember my password! I cant just keep alternating them b/c it cant have been repeated within the past FOUR passwords. It's quite comical actually...
I dial in...then type in the password until it finally rejects me saying "You have been locked out. Please wait 20 minutes and try again." ARG!
My current password for my phone is seriously something like xj4hsy9WW. I mean.. that's about how sensical it is. Pish posh.
Oh, and I'm not reading that book to the side anymore.. I am just too lazy to remove it. I actually never finished it. So there. I feel good telling you that. No idea why.

That password thing is so annoying. At my work, our computer passwords have to have to be at least 8 numbers long and have a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols. That's just to log into the computer, then there is one for our email system, then one for our intranet, then one for expense reporting and so on. They all expire and have to change. Since I had to have a number in my password, I just started with 1 and then up the number every time I have to change it. For example: Lauren.1 and then Lauren.2 and so on. It works okay, but my passwords change at different times, so I have to remember which one is on which number. A pain, but I can usually guess until I figure it out. At least I must be really secure!

We have passwords at my work too. My are super secret since I keep a post-it on my computer with the password. I just mark through the old one and add onto the new one so I don't repeat a password. We can't repeat a password until we've rotated through 24! Its ridiculous, but our IT doesn't seem to care what I think.
