"I jumped you this morning"

-Dennis. (after jumping my vehicle so I could go get a new battery.. BOO!) I responded with "I know..and it didnt even take very long.." then laughed...b/c I'm 12 years old.

So, yeah, this was AFTER I woke up, chin itching and hurting, and felt it....TWO LITTLE BUMPS. RIGHT IN THE SAME DAMN PLACE THEY WERE IN BEFORE.

That's right, people. It's back. The "I'm not sure what this is, but it isnt a cold sore.." shit.. The "Hey, I'll prescribe you valtrex to the tune of 50 damn pills before your labs come back and tell me I was 100% wrong.." Or better...the "maybe it's an insect bite." Or my favorite "well, if it comes back again, call me and we'll run more tests..."

NO. THANK. YOU.

It's none of those things. It's annoying. This is number three. Personally, I think it IS a cold sore and I have no explanations for his labs. And I cant tan. which is bullshit.

Anyway, my chin bumps and I got a new battery today. I took the car to wal-mart (both b/c it's close to work and b/c I needed somewhere to wander). I ended up going to McDonalds, buying fruit, reading a magazine, perusing the basket section (I dont know, people) and eating a doughnut. People are nice at Wal Mart in the morning. Just sayin. You know who makes me happy? Door greeters. I like them. I always stop and talk to them. Weird? Whatever. I dont care. I have facial bumps..no one else will talk to me. In all fairness, it's not that bad. I'm just annoyed.

I drove past St. Francis when going to pay my car insurance (remembering it was due today while paying for my car battery-oooops!). I thought "Stop being a baby, Jax. You had a dead battery and a bump on your chin. Really? You're passing a hospital. Things could be worse for you..."

So, I bucked up.

We have a work promo that I find HILARIOUS. I cant write about it on here b/c that would be wrong, but it's funny, people. It's not supposed to be. Granted, this is coming from the person who laughs at inappropriate times in movies (Seen The Island? Yeah. I laughed at the end...people were crying and I was laughing so hard I almost peed myself).

Alright, so to end this blog:
- Watching LC on a date last night was like watching my plant grow. Seriously. Get a brain, Lauren. Use it when you talk to people. Thank you.
- My apt is looking cute! I dont plan to do anything with it tonight other than watch Big Brother with my shit all around me... (think: not unpacked suitcase, picture frames, old curtains...etc)
- Our work server was down almost all day and I thought I was going to die from blog deprivation.
- Promo codes rock my world. Need to order something online? Yeah.. be sure to google "promotional code for ___(store)" ...Just sayin.
- The cell phone ring that sounds like a submarine makes me want to scratch my eyeballs out.

Love from the office. Heading home with my new battery. Be jealous. I'm supercharged, bitches.

Hmm...The Hills. I have been so wrapped up in the Olympics that I totally forgot about it and then was pleasantly surprised to see it on my TiVo last night. It was okay. I'm 99% sure that we've talked about this before, but I liked The Hills so much better when they were living in an apartment instead of a gorgeous house. It just seems weird for a 23 year old to have a house like that. It's not as relatable, etc. Not like I can relate to anything ELSE in that show, but you know what I mean. Well, I do share a name with the star at least : )

Oh, and I can't believe your herpes came back. That blows!

the chin AGAIN? jeez, woman. i feel like you have some third-world incurable disease or something. just don't touch me, okay? KIDDING! in actuality, this further proves the stupidity of modern medicine when doctors can't even figure out what some little bumps are and get rid of them for good. you should put windex on it. for reals.

My name is Linda Cyr and i would like to show you my personal experience with Valtrex.

I am 43 years old. Have been on Valtrex for 6 months now. Switched from acyclovir only because of advertisements that said it was the only drug shown to reduce incidence of spread to an uninfected partner. It was so much more expensive, and so new, that I became nervous and decided to switch back. Acyclovir worked great (took it for 6+ years without a single outbreak), had no side effects, and my partner still hasn't been infected.

I have experienced some of these side effects -
general malaise, hearing problems

I hope this information will be useful to others,
Linda Cyr
