So...Im in Vegas!! And blogging from the phone. First of all, my testimony went super well! What an experience! I was super nervous, but it was fairly informal and followed a lot of the formalities law school trained me for...addressing when you speak like "your honor and judge" transcends to "senator and chairman" Cool experience.
Second, our hotel kicks.ass. I have a tv in my friggin bathroom! Haha! Our conference is in the new Encore. Fun! Yesterday, Michele n I hit up the Palazzo for some shopping..er...window shopping mostly! Made it back to hotel by 10 and crashed soon after. It was lame of us, but much needed. :)
The conf kicked off w the ceo of zappos...who was pretty outstanding. He recommended like three books that I want to go buy immediately. (will list for ya). Conference is on social media for your company, etc. Lotsa info about blogs, twitter, podcasts, etc..and using them for your execs/company. Really cool.
Proving to be a beneficial conference!
In a workshop getting ready to start now, but we have a cocktail party at Blush later then plan to hit the town a little! We have our names on the list at a couple places (thanks to awesome well-connected friends) so should be a good time!
I hear its snowing there! What?! Its only like 65 here, but feels 10 degrees warmer. And regardless, I'm glad I'm not in snow. What the hell is that about?! Gawd, Tulsa. Sheez.
