Pablo came home from Wal Mart in February 2007. He took his last fishy breath sometime on Friday. :( Gracie and I had a funeral for the little guy. He was a good fish. He really was. I kinda want another one...but with a tank with a pump this time. I think my recent travels where I dumped in what I hoped was enough food for a few days while I was gone may have taken its toll. *sigh* Pablo Escobar, you will be missed. I used to tell myself he and Gracie talked while I wasn't home. Yes, I really am a bit odd.

oh no. deaths in the family are never easy. i had to flush one of my roommate's fish last week because she literally couldn't do it. r.i.p, pablo. i'm sure jackie and gracie will always think of you fondly.
i once lost a fish to the drain. yes, little ol' rex when down the drain. it took me a while to get over it.
i'm sorry about pablo. he was purrty.
oh such a pretty fish. I had just said Saturday that I wanted a Beta, but I hate it when they die =(
Tank with a pump always seemed much better to me..
Rest in peace, Pablo. All our childhood fish ended up flushed down the toilet (to our shrieks of mourning) after their brief lives ended and I just can't deal with the possibility of any more pets dying on me. I literally doubt that I'll ever have a pet again. Way too much pet trauma in my younger life.
pablo! r.i.p! you had a good life. too bad your mommy overfed and killed you. but at least you're in a better place now (you know, the fishbowl in the sky).
