So, my vp's asst accidentally sent the wrong thing to the wrong state.. (aka she reversed info for two states). If I get one more email asking me about it from a recipient of said incorrect email, I may or may not flip.my.sh*t. *fake smile* Mind you, she's really good and I like her lots, but I think she was having a bad day yesterday...as we all have.. and got going too fast.. as we all have. *sigh*
Would you like to know something that drives me bananas? Cars that turn on their turn indicator (people make fun of me for calling it that instead of "blinker" but I dont care), and move halfway into the turn lane thereby remaining halfway in your lane. GET.IN.THE.TURN.LANE. Are you that confused or are you just trying to make me lose it? My mom's been out of town part of this week which translates to a morning trip to her house to let her pup out and feed him. I don't mind...especially with as much as she watches G dawg, but that means my normal highway-only commute is riddled with more in-town traffic to get to her casa. My a-type behavior comes out when driving...a lot. Mind you, I'm not a crazy-cursing-middle-finger-raising freakshow.. no no.. I just go when it's green..and get in the appropriate lanes... and if you dont, you're stupid (haha.. oh so tolerant..that's me).
This morning, I woke up and thought "YAY! I have a hair appt today!" so I put on a cute dress to feel nice and sassy and headed out the door...This dress is a cotton button down dress thing with a belt. Okay...what I never realized was the buttons UNDO themselves with walking! Crap!! I was walking into the building and if someone would have been looking, my black boy shorts would have been on full display at one point!! Agh!!!!!!!! My stance became like one of those "I'm naked in front of everyone" dreams...haha... frozen, in the middle of the lot, fixing my dress. So, now I'm compulsively watching my crotch when I walk through the office. It's quite classy, I'm sure... *nervous*
Welp, this is a few minutes of your life you'll never get back so I'll wrap this up... Hope you guys have a lovely weekend! Eric leaves for Canada tomorrow with some of his fam. Yes, that's right. He went to St. Lucia with me and is heading to Canada with his parentals. This guy gets NO pity in the vacay department. :) I've been trying to text him Canadian things to get him used to Canadians. I think I'm funny. Jury's still out on whether he agrees.. hahaha.. Other than waving a sleepy goodbye at the airport, I will be having some girly time, hitting up a bday party and likely working a little since I leave for the UW in just over a week!!!!! my two personal canadian faves are:
"eh?" (you can basically put this at the end of any old sentence and it becomes "canadian" (and a question to boot)). i just put a parenthesis inside a parenthesis. wow
