I often battle the editing game on here... and by that I mean.. "should I say that? I don't want to seem negative, showy, overly perky, potty mouthed.... (just name the adjective for whatever mood)." Thanks to Grace for somewhat reinspiring me and reminding me why I blog and I need to stop even thinking about a filter... I've been doing much better at it lately and part of that is damnit... when a girl needs to vent, a girl needs to vent...Then on the other spectrum, I'm cheesy by nature sometimes. I just am. It is what it is. So yeah. Granted, there is SOME editing b/c my picture is all over this.. so going off about anything that could come back to bite me will likely not happen...(lawyer talking here...;) ) But long and short.. I blog for me. It's therapeutic. And I love that.
I got reallllly into blogging when I took the bar exam b/c no one wanted to listen to my whining every day about torts or the dormant commerce clause. And.. frankly.. I thought my law jokes were much funnier than my friends did. So when I blogged them, I imagined people reading and laughing. (I really did..haha) After that, though, my blog has seen a new name (deleted the old one), a new job, a fabulous new boyfriend, pictures of friends...and their new babies, weddings, etc... And more recently, it's allowing me to meet new friends over the net from all over the country and beyond. (that sounds creepy... I dont mean it to.. lol!)
So a quick thanks to people for reading, following, commenting, whatever else. Hope you're having an amazing weekend. I've been at my reunion (updates and pics to follow. Eric has been disappointed by the lack of ghetto-ness of my old friends from my public school) and have Wicked tonight! Excited! :)

Uhoh. Lack of ghetto-ness? I'd better warn Sammy: same school, next year: I think he's counting on a lot of ghetto-ness. That's part of the fun, right? Laughing back in your hotel room over how certain people's lives have turned out? Or am I just a total bitch? Oops.
aww such a sweet blog. I followed way before I ever commented, probably a year...you make me laugh and smile! I love your blog!
:) good blog. i wish i were one of the people who commented more on your blog but my work server doesn't care for it much - often tells me "weighted phrase limit exceeded". oops! but it says that when i go to a lot of sites - certain parts of the babies r us site, for example ("nipple" is probably the trigger there...
) keep writing, though, and i will keep reading!
I agree, that blogging is really theraputic, I like sharing my likes/dislikes with people and like to see their reactions!
I am struggling with this censorship issue on my blog as well. My evil step mother and evil cousin
have used my blog as ammunition (total soap opera). I am working on a solution.
Can't wait to hear more about the reunion and see pics! So sad I couldn't make it.
I'm also having some censorship questions on my blog right now, and I have yet to decide how to resolve them. I love reading your blog and I think you sound quite genuine and entertaining as well. I'm glad you're still blogging!
Lauryl-you crack me up! haha! And thanks so much for the sweet comments, everyone!! :) It's such a balance to really say what you want... but also not accidentally offend...or say too much about one thing or another..and also keep your private life private. Ya'll (said in true Okie style) rock my socks!!!
Sometimes I want to get an anonymous blog just so I can write what I really want to write. I filter A LOT or I just don't write about it at all.
I heart your blog.
Love,
Lucia's mom (My new name insprired by Nate's mom)
Jax, I love you and your blog, and in response to a previous comment, I completely concur. You and I would totally be friends in real life.
Good for you. This is about you. Enjoy it.
xoxo
Grace
