Manic...Tuesday?

Okay, so I've been kinda peppy on here and I think it's b/c I've been blogging at the end of the day... Therefore, whatever randomness that occurred through the day has diminished and I'm settled in...watching whatever mindless reality show is on at the moment. ;) I mean.. I'm fairly peppy regularly, but just sayin.... :) I've come to really enjoy settling in on the sofa these past couple weeks and reading all your daily updates since I can't comment throughout the day with all the driving around town I've been doing...

Sooo... I headed back to the office to charge my cell since it's on it's last red bar and decided to blog for a second before heading out again. Some midday randomness:

1. I'm getting over delivering packets to companies. I'm ready to get the show on the road. Plus, a few are super interested... while others smile and nod politely all the while their faces say "okay, thanks.. you can go now.."

2. I've had a few (or 15) dreams where I don't meet my goal and all the local agencies have to shut down or something equally as dramatic. I put pressure on myself...even subconsciously. haha..

3. I think I'm semi cranky that summer is ending. I have no idea why.. It was a good summer! And I love fall/football weather! *Shrug*

4. I want to get away for a weekend, I think... I have a free ticket on Southwest, but I'm really trying to save that for somewhere I REALLY want to go and can't afford at all, ya know. Plus, my schedule for the next couple mos makes taking Friday afternoon or Monday harder than normal.. understandably.

5. My rental car they gave me is.. um.. challenging at times. haha.. The key fab doesn't work. The brakes kiiiiinda squeak. And the child lock on the back door wont disengage. (Picture me crawling over the drivers seat in dress clothes to unlock the door so I can get my materials out of the back. It's comical). And I really don't want to trade cars on the other side of town, so I just deal with it til I get a chance to go out there.. *shrug*

6. Do you use dry shampoo? I've wanted to try it and picked up a travel size at Ulta the other day for like 8 bucks of the Oscar Blandi spray. Oh. My. Gawd. It's amazing, people. It smells good (some others smelled like aqua net.. which uh.. is okay if you're living in 1992 I suppose :)). I didn't wash my hair and wore a hat yesterday, walked around in the heat...and if you're catching my drift, was less than coiffed. okay okay, it was somewhat oily-gross. We decided to go to a bbq at Eric's friends last minute last night and I decided to give the dry shampoo a try. You wouldnt have even KNOWN I had some serious hat-heat-hair just a few minutes earlier! I am definitely going back and buying the larger spray! If you have thick hair, you likely don't understand how happy this product makes me.. haha... If yours is fine and straight like mine, you will love this!!! I've heard Bumble & Bumb!e has a good one, too...

That's all I've got! Oh and SYTYCD starts TOMORROW!!!!! Oh how I love watching people get their tickets to Vegas... I get too excited about television. Just sayin. Hope you're having a great day!

AND! Britney is ONE.WEEK.AWAY. That actually just got me a little excited as I typed it.. haha! Wow. Okay, off to deliver packets and change lives. Lates.

Yay, hope you have so much fun with Britney! That sounds like a blast. I have never tried dry shampoo, but you are making me want to give it a go! I want to go away for the weekend as well, wouldn't that be nice? Hope that happens for you darlin!

Thanks for the good wishes on my race, it went well but now I am super tired! Hope you enjoy your week!

Hmm. I'm interested in the dry shampoo. I've never tried anything like it, but I do have incredibly fine/thin hair, so have to wash it every.single.day so I don't look like a crack whore. Some days I am pulling all-nighters trying to get flowers finished for an event, and while I always shower BEFORE the event, I don't always shower when I'm down at the flower mart at 4am getting last-minute fillers. So dry shampoo might be a better alternative to a ball cap (which I look dumb in anyway). Thanks for the tip. ;-)

I've been thinking about trying out some dry shampoo so thanks for giving me the confirmation I need to do so! I am trying to wash my hair every other day but day 2 gets into ick-land in the afternoon. Maybe I'll try Bumble and Bumble and we can compare notes. :)

I'm so jealous you're going to Britney! I also fully admit that I am VERY cranky that winter is on it's way. Ugh - I hate the cold (said the girl from Chicago) :)

I've never tried the Oscar Blandi spray, but I have the powder and I think it's pretty great. Is the spray really easy to apply, or does it just spray all over the place?

I followed your advice and downloaded the play list to my iPhone and I've been listening to it none stop. I've also been practicing my Brit Brit dance moves. I'm so excited for this performance!!
