...when you're in the bathroom, run into someone, start talking to them and then they're still talking while you're done and ready to exit said bathroom. Do you stay? I mean...are they really done talking after that last comment? Or will you leave them talking to themselves feeling stupid?
Yeah, so just stand there awkwardly at the door acting like you're drying your hands..again..and again.. uttering a "yeah..." or open the door really loudly...yeah... awkward all the way around..
(and this is at work. b/c if this whole thing happens to you at home, I'm concerned for you and why you have stalls in your house)

Oh my gosh! This just happened to me today. A girl from my department walks in the same time I do and rambles the whole time I am trying to, you know. I finish and she is still you know. And I just stood there awkardly waiting on her to finish, finally she said, "you might wanna wait for me outside, this may take a while" so gross. and classless. soo funny that you blogged about this.

Do you find it awkward when people continue to talk to you while they go to the bathroom? I'm torn on that one.
I do, however, find it awkward when people are on their phone in the bathroom. I feel like no one wants to hear me pee.
HEY don't be hating on the stalls I keep in my home bathroom!!! kidding. ;-) yeah, awkward, I usually just interrupt with, "gotta run, catch you later," and then make a run for it. ;-)
yah...so awkward! I think making a quick comment that you gotta get going and heading out is the best bet. Otherwise it is weird to wait for them. And why would they want you to? Weird!
you crack me up! totally understand...people are strange sometimes. here at my work, we have regular bathrooms...2 of them...but what sucks more than having to pretend to dry your hands over an over while at work, in the bathroom, so chatty cathy can keep chattin' ....is having those two lovely one person bathrooms, BOTH BE UNISEX! ha! :)
haha! oh yeah, that awkward moment of "uhhhh what do I do?!" I normally just try to end it with "have a good rest of your day..."

Oh my gosh my boss does this. I always try to avoid going into the bathroom with her because she always asks "who is in here?" and then talks the entire time and does not let me out of the bathroom! So I totally know how you feel and because she is my boss I usually stay and chat since I don't want to be rude. But...if it was just one of my co-workers I might point fun and say "Let's get of here!" Lol.
seriously...that is just not ok....people just dont know when to stop talking sometimes! cant they take a hint?!? lol!
Oh man, that is awkward all the way around. I hate talking to people in the bathroom in general. I don't think there is much in life that is more awkward than talking through bathroom stalls.
Maybe everyone just loves talking to you in particular!!!
Ew, that stuff always makes me feel silly. I usually do the whole, "Welp, see ya later" and then run out before they have a chance to say anything else. But I'm also the one that doesn't really like chatting whilst peeing anyway. :)
