Simply Love Swap!

Soooo since I loved the scarf swap, I decided to participate in Katie's Simply Love Swap! With a baby due in May and a full time job, she still found time to plan out a creative swap and enabled us all to get a fun surprise for Valentines from someone out there in blog land! Thanks so much, Katie!! :)

I was matched with The Creative Housewife in Montana! :) We'd done a list of "likes" etc and when I got my package, it was obvious she paid close attention b/c I LOVE everything! I have a thing for holiday socks.. I dunno why, but I love them.. haha.. She got me the cutest Vday socks! And I LOVE peach flavored things (but oddly don't love peaches)... so she gave me some awesome peach flavored lip gloss (PS.. I also can't get enough lip gloss.. it's.an.addiction.). And it gets better! A note was enclosed letting me know her mom home-makes similar fabulous lip glosses and made me mine! That's freaking awesome!

Okay, before I continue rambling, here's a photo of my fun Vday goodies from my new blogfriend! :) I still haven't eaten the chocolate.. I think I get a prize for my willpower. :)

My swap partner is really creative and loves jewelry-making, scrapbooking, etc (I'm so jealous b/c I'm not so awesomesauce at crafts). Anyway, she made me some awesome earrings (also on my list of "likes!"). I adore the personal touch she put into my gifts and I can't wait to wear these! They feel so beachy/springy... make me want to put on a sundress instead of my wool coat! :)

Thank you so much, girlie! I absolutely love my fun surprise and I received it on a day I definitely needed a pick-me-up! Last week was a looooong work week (anyone else feel that way?).
