Okay, blog friends.. what have I been up to? Well...this about describes it...
One ticket to allergyland, please. Right. Truth be told, I think I also had a touch of a cold/virus/whatever b/c Marla's had something since last week she's been calling allergies and I dont think that's what it was. I likely caught it from her and now I've likely given it to Eric. (oops). Anyhoo, I'm on the road to recovery and it wasn't debilitating or anything, just annoying. I'm sure my cube neighbors at work have loved hearing the new girl blow snot into tissues all day (tmi? yeah sorry). Anyway, I've never used a Neti pot til this weekend and I think it totally worked! I didnt think it worked the first time, but after a second use, I'm inhaling and exhaling with the best of em! Well...I mean.. the pot plus nearly overdosing on vitamin C, water, mucinex, etc.. Some combination thereof totally worked! haha.. :) Have you ever used a neti pot? Love it? Hate it? Grossed out by it?
Well, I didn't take any pics last weekend b/c I was breathing through my mouth and looking glassy eyed during most of it, but despite all that, it was a good weekend! Got to catch up with Eric (b/c I thought it was a little cold or just allergies until around Sunday when it was too late), had some Mexican food (duh) and margaritas (totally lessened the blow of the virus. Tequila kills germs. ;) ) and rented Iron Man! I really wanna see the second one and hadn't seen the first, so we remedied that. :)
Oh and a parking update.. My awesomesauce friend, Ashley and I are basically planning to beat the system. *insert evil laugh* I'll let you know if it works. I'm somewhat excited about going rogue on the downtown parking system.

PS.. I dont think I liked Lost tonight. I say "dont think" b/c I need some time to process it b/c upon first impression, I wasn't overly fulfilled. Thoughts?

Netipot + Mucinex = allergies be gone! I had that problem in March and bought a Neti pot. I was back to normal in no time after that (which I agree may have been caused by other things, but I'm convinced it helped)
I am a HUGE fan of neti pots! are you going to keep using it? I saw a HUGE improvement when I decided to just use it daily!
I can't wait to get home and turn on my dv'r--no lost for me last night!
The Netti Pot and I are BFF's this time of year!

Oh my gosh I am going to have to try the Netti pot! My allergies have been awful!
My co-worker used a Netti Pot and said it was fabulous! Ok, you MUST let me know if your plan to beat the downtown parking system works. Ours sucks, so I'm totally game for trying to pull a fast one on the city of Fayetteville ; )

Never used the netti pot but I've heard SO many great things about it. Glad to hear you're doing better though and finally got to hang out with Eric!

Aw, I'm glad you're feeling better! Yeah, I wasn't too thrilled with Lost either. I felt under whelmed.
I was pretty bored. I could've cared less where Jacob came from and the hole of sunshine.
I'm quite scared about using the neti pot, honestly. I just feel that it's gooing to go through the nostril and come out through my ear or somewhere in an orifice that reaches the brain and kill me.
I have the perfect cure for allergies.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having my butt kicked by allergies. Going on three days of breathing through my mouth. So sexy!!!

hi! yes, i use a neti pot too. mine isn't actually a "pot," it's a bottle that you squeeze and it sprays. same brand, just a different method. i'm not sure if it helps or not. i haven't seen any obvious improvement in my sinus headaches. probably because i don't use it as much as i'm supposed to. oops.

Hope you are feeling better now and every time I read about Lost I am dying to watch it even though I haven't watch it at all this season. I hope they end it well, here's to hoping.
