Anyhoo, I'd saved a few random images on blogger this week of things I'm randomly wanting in the fashion world and thought I'd just go ahead and post. :)
1. Denim shirt. I totally want one! I think this trend has been around awhile and I've just been ignoring it or not into it or who the heck knows. But lately, I just.freaking.want.one. And I cant find one anywhere...which makes me want one more. (Duh). As a random piece of comedy, I knew this trend hit a little bit ago and I was like "Wait, are they still 'in' b/c I can't FIND one..." Soooo I totally asked my favorite blogger fashionista, Leslie. And she confirmed. :) Phew. I mean, how cute would it be with some shorts on my upcoming San Fran trip?!

Love this post! I almost got a denim shirt yesterday, but wasn't sure what bottoms I'd wear since I wear denim jeans all the time! Also, I've been wanting a monogram necklace as well but the price tags I'm seeing are a little more than I'd like to spend. I'll have to see if I can find any good deals! :)
I love the jean shirt - and the necklace. Those long skirts just won't work for me! I think I am too short, and it makes it hard for me to buy anything long (even pants)! You would look adorable in one though. I am not a feather gal either, I prefer my hair to just be my hair! ;)
I LOVE my maxi skirts...LOVE them. My favorite is this black one from Express and whenever I have the chance I try to bust it out! You'll look adorable in one...do it!
Maxi skirts and I are good friends right now. I have a black one from Old Navy that I LURVE so much! In fact, I may try to run home between work and Harry Potter and change into it.
I am obsessed with my jean shirt! Sometimes I think I wear it a little too much. lol I got mine at the JCrew outlet. Good luck finding the perfect one:)

Okay girl you can totally rock the maxi skirt--they don't work for my short legs!
I am totally digging the feathers, maybe not as many as Hillary is wearing in that pic but I do like them. My husband would die if I got one though ha!

Love my feathers! Mine aren't as big as the ones Hillary is wearing in that pic, but I love them! SO glad denim is back, it'll be awesome for fall!
I'm probably going to forego the feathers...not sure how that translate in the corporate world, haha. I feel like there are certain trends that I should avoid now that I'm on the other side of 25, ya know? Kind of like that trend like 4 years ago with girls dying the underneath part of their hair black and the top part platinum blonde. Acckk!

I didn't realize maxi skirts were back in fashion. After maxi dresses, I guess we should have known that these wouldn't be far behind!
I just got a denim shirt--and I try not to be too ahead of the trend, but after reading your post, I'm feeling pretty good about myself. I'm not dealing well with the maxi skirt trend (hellllo hips, wuff).
I totally with you on the greasey smell of self tanner, I used to put it on before bed, and some nights I would wake up and be like why does my room smell like fried food at 3am. bahahahah. TGIF :)

Ok, here are my thoughts... As someone who is obsessed with monograms, I need to get in on that trend. I will wear that necklace way past the acceptable time, and I'm ok with it. Denim shirt- I want a really light weight soft one that is oh so comfy and worn in.
And the feathers? Where do I even begin? No. Just no.
Oh my gosh, I have a San Francisco trip upcoming myself with my two best friends from Tulsa!! When are you guys going??

I have had a denim shirt (pearl snaps and everything) in my closet that I haven't worn in about two years! Glad to know I didn't throw that out! I got mine at Old Navy. :)
I haven't seen many of the maxi skirts around, but I want one STAT!!
I have mixed feelings about the feather hair. Some of my friends look really good in the rend but I don't think I could pull it off!
I LOVED all your comments on my blog btw. I think your interest in oceans is so neat! I'm a certified scuba diver and I remember on one deep dive there was a "cliff" underwater and I went over the cliff and it was black~you couldn't see anything it was so deep. Definitely makes you wonder all there is that goes on down there!

Long and funny/random story about tanning smell. I did my first versa spa spray tan this weekend, which ended up looking pretty good but we were at an outside wedding this weekend standing in the sun and my friend was like "it smells like tanning" and we started cracking up because I was sweating a little and so the smell of tanning was coming off from my skin. I immediately went into the shade! haah!
I happened upon this...there is a denim shirt almost exactly like the one Vanessa is wearing at Ann Taylor Loft right now! I almost bought it today! :)
