Vacation, by the numbers... :)

Hiya friends! Sooo we're back! :) And our trip was really fun! We started with my friend's wedding in Manhattan Beach, then flew up to San Fran for a few days. :) It was really packed full of stuff (and a lot of walking and exploring), so I'm realllllly glad I took the day off tomorrow to get things done and relax a tinge... Oh yeah....and the three day weekend ahead doesn't hurt. :) Soooo before I get to the ridiculous amount of photos (did you doubt me?), I'll just do a quick run through... Actually, my goal this time is to make my blog posts about our trip shorter and sweeter than I did with Maui last year. Those got out of control! Even I couldn't keep up with them...haha... :)

Okay.. sooooo..

1= beautiful bride and fantastic wedding. :) Seeing Ashley was so great and celebrating with her was even better. So happy for them! Can't wait to share pics!

2= number of hours my internal body clock is officially off. My watch says midnight. My body says 10pm. I dig it.

0= number of emails I checked and/or responded to. :) *happy sigh* I needed a break.

1= number of times my maxi skirt got stuck in Saks' escalator and made the whole thing stop. (It was embarassing. Let's not ever talk about it again. Ever. Thanks.) :)

1= number of jackets I had to purchase on our trip b/c my idea of "cooler" weather is apparently a little off. That's what 100 degree weather all summer does to a person.. haha! (The cool was fabulous!)

3= number of vineyards we visited in Healdsburg/Sonoma! :) (We won't add the number of wine tastings consumed at said vineyards ;) )

5= number of cities/towns we visited in a week! (Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes, San Francisco, Healdsburg, Sausalito!)

3= number of hotels we stayed in :)...each one lovelier than the last. No really. That sounds cheesy, but I'm serious.

15ish= number of times we said "I wish they could ship wine into Oklahoma for us." Laws. Blah. (But don't fret. We bubble wrapped a few bottles to tote back in our luggage... I mean.. duh).

30 10= number of times I was terrified to the point I could have wet myself decently freaked out at Alcatraz when Eric and I finished our night tour and opted to walk the grounds ALONE for some "creepy photos in the dark"<-- per Eric. No ghosts got me. Phew. (The tour was awesome by the way! One of my fav things we did! :) )

5 (at least)= references to old school rap songs whilst driving on the freeway in SoCal... Think "Hey, there's Compton..." and then we broke out into that section of California Love...  #losers :)

10+= great pics in front of the golden gate bridge! We got some fabulous ones on a fog-free afternoon yesterday!

7= number of tables the little Italian restaurant had on our first night in San Fran... Adorable and delicious... We didn't have a bad meal on our trip!

600+ = number of photos we took!

1= fantastic getaway :)

I hope you guys had a great week and are gearing up for a long, fabulous weekend! I can't wait to share some photos with ya of our trip and catch up on your happenings!

YAY! So glad you had a great trip and even more excited to read your recap of your visit to my neighborhood. :) Healdsburg is one of my favorite towns ever btw. You chose well! Russian River Valley wines can not be beat (even by Napa in my opinion)! Can't wait to see pictures!

WOOHOO! Welcome back! I can't wait to hear all about your trip (and see pictures, of course). Glad you loved the Alcatraz tour! Also glad to know Michael and I aren't the only ones that break into (rap) songs with the simplest cue.
