Weekend Recap!

Hi everyone! How was your weekend?! Mine was fabtastic! The sun came out for the first time in a bazillion years over a week, attended a fun bday party, enjoyed Eric's study break with him, saw some girl friends and sorority sistas, celebrated another birthday....and reconnected with my good friend, DVR. ;)

Before all that, here's a few pics from last Wed's Boise St game at the TU. It was rainy...and chilly...but we're true fans, people. (And it really only felt cold once we were in the stands in the rain).

Self portrait...and I kinda sorta totally love it and plan to frame it. Someone once told me not to wear navy and black b/c "you'll look like a bruise." haha.. I always think of that, but when it was cold...and my school's colors are blue...and my raincoat is black, it is what it is, people.
Okay, now on to Marla's birthday! Our friends got the top floor of a downtown building and it was like a very posh loungey type area.. super cool... (Marla's obviously the one with the birthday ribbon..haha).

It was OU/TX weekend...even Bud L!ght understood the rivalry. We're not gonna talk about the score.. ;) Actually, I root for any OK team playing b/c I went to TU, but I wasn't exactly glued to the tv or anything...

Saturday, I went to lunch with Blaze at Genghis Grill. mmmm.. yummy! :) Girl talk almost alllll the way through the OU game...haha

Saturday night, Kristen's bday at Casa Lared0 downtown. Somehow I got stuck at the boy table. I now know a lot more about fantasy football and the Family Guy than I ever did before. *whoa*
Sunday, I opted to go bra shopping. TMI? Yeah, well it's my blog.. haha.. I had a coupon for 10 bucks off at VS and decided to go! Did I find one? Yep. Stuff like that can totally make one's day... What I didn't mention was how I dropped my 10 dollar off coupon somewhere in the store and had to search for it subtly for like 15 minutes til I found it under a table... hah.. It was kinda hilarious.. "excuse me.. um.. could I just... excuse me... Oooh! THERE!"

Also went to lunch with mom and hung with her most of the day-took some laundry to her casa (since the w/d in my apt bldg is TINY). We had a good day together. I sometimes find that when I chill the hell out, my mom's a pretty cool chick. Just sayin. :)

Traded the Sunday ritual Caramel Apple Spice for bueno nachos with Eric tonight... mmmmm...Bueno picnic on the floor...Dont mind if I do :)
