Weekend Recap!

Here I sit, watching Kell on Earth on Bravo! I love this woman.. haha.. She's the devil-wears-prada-esque owner of People's Revolution, a fashion PR firm and was Whit's boss from The City... And I just got done watching The Bachelor. Now that's I've admitted I have no life (granted, who does on a Monday?!), don't get me started on Vienna Sausage. Ugh. That girl drives me crazy to no end. Team Tenley here. Just.saying.

Okay, so the weekend.

It was icy. It was snowy. Thankfully, it was more snowy than icy. :) And score b/c I didn't lose power! *victory fist thrust into the air*

The trees around here all looked like something off a Christmas card... all glisteny with ice and snow.. seriously quite stunning.. This pic doesn't do it justice, but whatev.
Gracie only likes to walk through previously established paths.. haha...
...b/c she looks like this otherwise.. haha..poor baby..
"mom, it's sss ssss sssso coooold!"
Yes, I took a photo of myself. With a self timer. Trying to clean off my car. This is what you do when you have no real social interaction for like 2 days. but look at all that snow!
Holding a sheet of ice that came off my car! (Like my defrosting getup?! haha.. Sweatpants, sunglasses, TU hat.. I was trying to look like I meant business.. er.. kinda).
I'd settled in to my lone ranger tv watching self on my fav place on my sofa... and thankfully Rachel pulled me out of it to go sledding b/c we had a blast! Here we are with our "sleds" aka lids to storage containers. haha.. And yes, we sledded near an overpass. Whatever. We didn't want to have to drive far. Plus, there were LOTS of kids on the super steep side.. aka the side we didn't sled on. We're wusses. I'm okay with that.
My "sled' was clear so it looks like I'm sliding on my bum.. haha!
Another side faced the street.. We didnt stay there for long b/c the whole might-get-hit thing didn't seem like a good call..
YAY!
Prepping to go on my stomach!

face plant into a drift.. haha.. Nice.
See, it was steep enough!
Self timer programmed for three shots in a row.. hilarity ensued

We're so angelic..

Saturday night, went to see Edge of Darkness with Eric and his fam.. ooh after we had Mexican food! (how could I forget the Mexican food?!) The movie is Mel Gibson's new one.. and um.. it wasn't awesome. Too much violence, not enough plot evolution. Lemme just say although I LIKED Avatar and Hurt Locker, I wasn't a huge fan of Book of Eli or Edge of Darkness... soooo uh.. Eric is on the hook for seeing Valentines Day b/c I've certainly gotten my fill of blood, guts, shoot em up flicks.. I might even throw in "When in Rome" just.because. haha...

Sunday, I went to the gym and ran! This 5K training is actually paying off a little b/c I'm not DYING when I'm done running.. and I don't push myself too hard, but I get an excellent workout. That said, with the bad weather, I feel like I'm behind and I need to get back up to speed.

Tomorrow is dedicated to Lost. I will be completely planted in front of my television for the entirety of the evening to watch the TWO HOUR season premiere! Iamsofreakingexcited!!!!

Hope you had a great weekend!!

Team Tenley all the way! Vienna just erks my nerves. I just don't get a good vibe from her lol. But I did hear through the grape vine that she might be the chosen one. I really hope I'm wrong!

Your pictures are super cute :) It looks like you had a ton of fun sledding! I haven't been sledding in forever. Maybe I need new fun friends, JK lol. Little Gracie is adorable by the way :)

Glad you had such a good weekend despite all the terrible winter weather!
